Our mission is to promote all forms of Nordic skiing as a healthy activity for all ages and abilities. Among our core activities are maintaining and grooming over 140 kilometers of ski trails for recreation and touring, as well as performance skiing and racing.
Serving Anchorage's Nordic ski community requires the year-round commitment of a small but dedicated staff, hundreds of hard-working volunteers, and a fleet of specialized heavy equipment. More importantly, the generous support of our members and donors is what
makes all of this possible.

HILLSIDE:  It was cold enough last night for Tom to give the trails some attention early this morning.  He groomed all the trails on the Hillside except the Ridge and set new track on the Gas Line.  Watch for more and more puddles and dirt spots.  He took another spin on the Tour trail down to MLK Blvd. and wanted to alert skiers of the condition of Homestead Hill coming down from Service HS.  It's slushy, really icy and getting lots of exposure in the afternoon sun.  He hopes to groom the Tour trail one more time tomorrow, however the snow on some of the bridges is really wearing thin.  Enjoy it while it lasts!
