Our mission is to promote all forms of Nordic skiing as a healthy activity for all ages and abilities. Among our core activities are maintaining and grooming over 140 kilometers of ski trails for recreation and touring, as well as performance skiing and racing.
Serving Anchorage's Nordic ski community requires the year-round commitment of a small but dedicated staff, hundreds of hard-working volunteers, and a fleet of specialized heavy equipment. More importantly, the generous support of our members and donors is what
makes all of this possible.

Saturday, December 4, 2014,*Update 9:55am*

Matt was out early this morning  packing the powder and setting new tracks on the Lake Loop, Horseshoe and Multi-Use trails.  He said it will be a little soft today and that Kincaid only received about 1" of new snow yesterday.  Craig is still out on the trails this morning and will have the entire park groomed with fresh tracks by 12:30 this afternoon.  The skiing will be great today for both skating and diagonal.

Tom cleaned up all the trails on the Hillside last night.  They are in excellent shape for both classic and skating.

Chugiak and Eagle River are enjoying 2-4" of new snow, so Bill was out last night and early this morning making fresh comb and setting new tracks at Beach Lake, Eagle River HS and the Yosemite Dr. trails.

Have a great Saturday!
