Our mission is to promote all forms of Nordic skiing as a healthy activity for all ages and abilities. Among our core activities are maintaining and grooming over 140 kilometers of ski trails for recreation and touring, as well as performance skiing and racing.
Serving Anchorage's Nordic ski community requires the year-round commitment of a small but dedicated staff, hundreds of hard-working volunteers, and a fleet of specialized heavy equipment. More importantly, the generous support of our members and donors is what
makes all of this possible.

Well, it's the day after Christmas and now that the temperature has climbed a little it's time hit the trails again and work off all those cookies!

There isn't a lot of traffic today at Kincaid.  Craig says the trails are in fine form and to come on out.

Apparently, no one is at Kincaid because they're all on the Hillside.  Tom was able to get Double Bubble and the Gasline groomed with new track before the crowds showed up.  He's tackling the endless amount of droopy trees and eye-pokers on the Spencer and grooming as he goes.  Early this evening, he'll dress up the skate lanes on all the Lighted Loops.

Bill has just finished grooming Bartlett and said it's in great shape...pretty quiet out there today as well.

Classic and skating should be great everywhere today.  Enjoy!
