It looks like the deep freeze is on it's way out, so skiing should be a little more comfortable this week.
The Lighted Loops at Kincaid have been scratched up and the conditions are pretty good. Might be a fun opportunity to do a little track-free classic skiing this evening (still not enough base). Tomorrow, Craig will venture out to the Dark trails and give them some attention. He mentioned that the lights on the first part of Margaux's have been working intermittently and not to be alarmed. The lighting guys are aware of the problem and taking action to remedy the situation.
Tom has cleaned up most of the park on the Hillside and made passes on the Lighted loops, Service HS stadium and soccer field, the Spencer, Richter and Gasline. He is please with the outcome and said they look pretty nice. He's excited about tomorrow when he'll start grooming with the Pisten Bully. These last several days of really cold weather are hard on the groomers and the equipment. Oh, the joys of a heated cab!! He even mentioned the "T" word (tracks) and that he MIGHT put some down on the Gasline or maybe even the Besh. No promises though!
Bill took a spin on the snow machine at BARTLETT this morning for those of you who have been enjoying the solitude and wonderful skiing conditions over there. He said it may be a little soft but still in great shape for skating. He checked the trails at Beach Lake and said there are still is good shape.
Have a great evening and enjoy the warmer temperatures!
