Our mission is to promote all forms of Nordic skiing as a healthy activity for all ages and abilities. Among our core activities are maintaining and grooming over 140 kilometers of ski trails for recreation and touring, as well as performance skiing and racing.
Serving Anchorage's Nordic ski community requires the year-round commitment of a small but dedicated staff, hundreds of hard-working volunteers, and a fleet of specialized heavy equipment. More importantly, the generous support of our members and donors is what
makes all of this possible.

Craig is out cleaning up the Lighted trails with new track and spiffed up skate lanes.  The rest of the park at Kincaid is in great shape.**About 4pm Matt called and said he'd been out on the Lake and Horseshoe cutting brush and said those trails are in great shape.  The tracks on the Multi-Use are still holding up nicely as well.

Tom is cutting brush on the Hillside and scratching up the skate lanes on the Lighted Loops and Gasline.  He'll head out after dinner in the snow cat and groom APU and the TOA then give all the trails on the Hillside another groom late tonight.

Bill is also cutting brush at Beach Lake. He's trying to clean it up as he goes but said to watch for clumps of snow and twigs in the trails.

Skiing today for both classic and skating is pretty darn good, so head on out and enjoy the trails!
