YOUR MEMBERSHIP MATTERS!

Our mission is to promote all forms of Nordic skiing as a healthy activity for all ages and abilities. Among our core activities are maintaining and grooming over 140 kilometers of ski trails for recreation and touring, as well as performance skiing and racing.
Serving Anchorage's Nordic ski community requires the year-round commitment of a small but dedicated staff, hundreds of hard-working volunteers, and a fleet of specialized heavy equipment. More importantly, the generous support of our members and donors is what
makes all of this possible.

The Groomers are out today on this frigid day after Thanksgiving.

The Lighted Loops at Kincaid have been scratched up and sprinkled with speed dust for your skiing pleasure.  It's fast and cold but still edge-able.  Decent skiing today.

On Hillside, the Lighted Loops, Double Bubble, Service HS, the Richter and the Spencer will all be given the same treatment by the end of the day.  Cold, cold, cold...but skiing is still good.

Craig was out on part of the Jodphur trail with a Channel 2 news crew today, so you'll notice some combed areas near the parking lot.

Eagle River HS and the Yosemite trails are good for skating today...watch for rocks.

Dress warmly and enjoy!
