Saturday, April 6, 9:30 am, 11:20, Update 12:30 pm, Update 3:00 pm

Well, it looks like we're having a "weather event" this weekend with the forecasted snow accumulation nearing 6+ inches...maybe 8-12 by tomorrow!!!   We'll do our best to keep the blog updated as we hear from each groomer.

KINCAID
Craig called this morning and had groomed the Mize, the Jodhpur, Margaux's and the Lekisch.  It is necessary for him to make two passes, one to break up the hard base and another to mix and groom.  However, the snow is continuing to come down steadily.  Matt has groomed the Lake Loop and the Horseshoe and set a SINGLE TRACK right down the middle.  Head on out and pack it down!  Enjoy!
HILLSIDE
UPDATE: As of 12:30 pm, Tom has groomed all the Lighted Loops and the Gasline with new track.  He'll have Double Bubble and the Spencer ready to go by 1:30 pm.  He said the Hillside has 4", so far, and the snow is still coming down and that there are lots of skiers out today helping him pack those trails.  Have fun!
CHUGIAK/EAGLE RIVER
UPDATE: As of 3:00 pm, Bill had groomed the entire park at Beach Lake, setting new track all the way.  The snow is still falling...this is a great opportunity to get in some wonderful classic skiing on this fabulous fresh snow.

"UWAX is Back" Kincaid weather hotline is back online 248-UWAX (248-8929) will give Time, Temp in F, Wind direction, wind speed & humidity. Listen closely, - Hal, the automated voice, is a bit hard to understand. Huge thank you to Karl Volz for making that happen.
