Our mission is to promote all forms of Nordic skiing as a healthy activity for all ages and abilities. Among our core activities are maintaining and grooming over 140 kilometers of ski trails for recreation and touring, as well as performance skiing and racing.
Serving Anchorage's Nordic ski community requires the year-round commitment of a small but dedicated staff, hundreds of hard-working volunteers, and a fleet of specialized heavy equipment. More importantly, the generous support of our members and donors is what
makes all of this possible.

It's another beautiful day in our fair city!  Craig was busy today and is shaking things up a bit.  He has groomed the MizeSisson Loop, Elliot's Climb to World Cup, Easy St. to the Bridge, Ice Box, Mize's Folly, Moose Hill, Old 6, and Stairway to Heaven.  No Compression or Long Lekisch today.  Don't forget to check out the 2 day-old snow on the Snowmaking Loop. The park is in great shape for some excellent Spring skiing for both classic and skating. Have fun!
Tom was out last night and dressed up the park for your skiing pleasure.  He set new track and scratched up the skate lanes on the Besh, Hillside Lighted Loop, Gasline, Double Bubble and the Spencer.  He touched up the skate lanes only on Randy's, Service Trail and the Jr. Nordic Loop.  The trails are in great shape and the skiing is awesome for both classic and skating.  Have a great day!
All the trails in Chugiak and Eagle River are in fine shape for both classic and skating.  Bill is waiting for the new weather system to move in and bring us some more snow.  So, enjoy the sunshine, while it lasts!
"UWAX is Back" Kincaid weather hotline is back online 248-UWAX (248-8929) will give Time, Temp in F, Wind direction, wind speed & humidity. Listen closely, - Hal, the automated voice, is a bit hard to understand. Huge thank you to Karl Volz for making that happen.
