Our mission is to promote all forms of Nordic skiing as a healthy activity for all ages and abilities. Among our core activities are maintaining and grooming over 140 kilometers of ski trails for recreation and touring, as well as performance skiing and racing.
Serving Anchorage's Nordic ski community requires the year-round commitment of a small but dedicated staff, hundreds of hard-working volunteers, and a fleet of specialized heavy equipment. More importantly, the generous support of our members and donors is what
makes all of this possible.

FRIDAY:Craig was out and hit some of the Dark Trails...Old 6, Compression, Stairway to Heaven, S Turns and Easy St..  For those of you who like to classic ski side by side with your friends, Craig put in a set of double tracks on Elliot's and World Cup. Skiing is looking great for both classic and skating on the Mize, Margaux's, Jodhpur and the Multi-Use Trail
THURSDAY: The Sisson, Long Lekisch and the Chalet Loop were groomed and are in great shape.  There is a lot to choose from, so head on out to Kincaid this weekend and enjoy the trails!
We have a report that the Easter Bunny was seen on the Hillside early this morning.  He was in the Pisten Bully working the skate lanes, leaving fresh cord (instead of eggs) on  the Lighted Loops, Double Bubble, the Spencer and Gasline!  Now that's our kind of rabbit!  Thanks Easter Bunny!
SATURDAY: Tom was out this morning and has dressed up the skate lanes on all the Lighted Loops, Gasline and Double Bubble.  He took a spin and set new track on Randy's, the Tour Trail and the APU trail system.  What a beautiful day to be out skiing!
FRIDAY: Tom groomed the Whole Park with new track everywhere. The skiing is great for both classic and skating.   Have fun!
SATURDAY:  Bill groomed the Coyote Trails at MLMS, Eagle River HS and Yosemite Dr.  Enjoy!
THURSDAY NIGHT: Bill was out and groomed the trails at Beach Lake...everything but the Christy and Hill Loops.
Great skiing to be had this weekend in Chugiak/Eagle River.  Get it while it lasts!
FRIDAY:Bill was out and got the trails at Bartlett ready for the weekend.  Have a good one!
