Our mission is to promote all forms of Nordic skiing as a healthy activity for all ages and abilities. Among our core activities are maintaining and grooming over 140 kilometers of ski trails for recreation and touring, as well as performance skiing and racing.
Serving Anchorage's Nordic ski community requires the year-round commitment of a small but dedicated staff, hundreds of hard-working volunteers, and a fleet of specialized heavy equipment. More importantly, the generous support of our members and donors is what
makes all of this possible.

Friday, MARCH 1, 11:17 am

As of 11:00 am, Craig had finished grooming Margaux's, Jodhpur,  and the Sisson and the Mize and Lekisch will be ready by noon.  He's hoping to have the rest of the park ready to go by 3:00 pm.  It was 31 degrees, partly cloudy and the trails are in excellent shape for both classic and skating.  Have fun!
Tom was out last night scratching up the skate lanes and setting new track on the Spencer and Double Bubble.  This morning he went over the lanes on the Lighted Loops and said the tracks are in good shape.  He'll probably hit them one more time later this afternoon leaving them in awesome shape for skating and classic.
The rest of the day he is devoting to brush cutting and snow hauling on the Tour of Anchorage trail in preparation for the BIG RACE!  The clock is ticking skiers!
Last night Bill took the snow cat out and groomed for classic and skating at the Coyote Trails at MLMS.  He said they are in great shape.
This morning he cleaned up Eagle River HS and Yosemite Dr. trails.  They are looking good and in great shape for both classic and skating.
Have a great weekend!
