THE SNOW IS COMING DOWN!!!

KINCAID
Craig was out this morning and it was 26 degrees with 3/4 " of new snow on the ground and more coming down.   By 2 pm it had snowed 2.5" and started to slow down.  Craig and the Pisten Bully 600 groomed the entire park, (except the Horseshoe, Lake Loop and Multi-Use), with new track.   Naturally, there will be fresh snow on top of the recent groom.  Enjoy!
HILLSIDE
Hillside had accumulated 4-6" of new snow as of 2 pm and it was still snowing a little bit but starting to taper off.  Tom took the Pisten Bully out and groomed all the Lighted Loops, Gasline, Double Bubble, and the Service HS Stadium with new track.  He took the snowmachine and groomed (no track yet) the Richter and Spencer Loops and was heading toward the upper half of the Tour of Anchorage Trail just to knock it down.  He has great hopes of hitting those three areas with the snow cat tomorrow, providing there is enough snow to work with.  We'll see what tomorrow brings!
CHUGIAK/EAGLE RIVER
As of 2 pm Chugiak had about 6 inches of snow and more coming down.  Bill decided to wait until mid-afternoon to get started.  He intends to launch from the Chalet at Beach Lake and get some trails ready for the after work crowd and Jr. Nordic kids tonight.  The snow is looking good!

"UWAX is Back" Kincaid weather hotline is back online 248-UWAX (248-8929) will give Time, Temp in F, Wind direction, wind speed & humidity. Listen closely, - Hal, the automated voice, is a bit hard to understand. Huge thank you to Karl Volz for making that happen.
