YOUR MEMBERSHIP MATTERS!

Our mission is to promote all forms of Nordic skiing as a healthy activity for all ages and abilities. Among our core activities are maintaining and grooming over 140 kilometers of ski trails for recreation and touring, as well as performance skiing and racing.
Serving Anchorage's Nordic ski community requires the year-round commitment of a small but dedicated staff, hundreds of hard-working volunteers, and a fleet of specialized heavy equipment. More importantly, the generous support of our members and donors is what
makes all of this possible.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

KINCAID
Ricky was out this morning and groomed, with track, the Horseshoe Loop,  most of the Lake Loop and the Multi-Use trails.  Craig is working on setting new track on all the Lighted Loops today.
HILLSIDE
Chuck has been out touching up the skate lanes with the snowmachine on all the Lighted Loops, Double Bubble, Gasline, and the Spencer.  Tom is heading in early this evening to groom the Tour Trail and APU for classic and skate.  At that time he'll check out the tracks at Hillside and re-track where needed.
CHUGIAK/EAGLE RIVER
Bill was out last night setting up a Middle School Race at Bartlett.  He groomed the whole system with new track and said it came out very nice.  The race is today from 3:30- 5:00ish.
Today Bill groomed Eagle River HS, Yosemite Dr. and the Coyote Trails at Mirror Lake Middle School for classic and skate .   FYI, the middle school kids are heading out for PE on the trails and the hills have been worked over pretty hard.
