KINCAID

Tom went out early this morning with the Pisten Bully and groomed the Snow Making Loop and the Stadium with clean skate lanes and fresh tracks. All other trails are AS IS due to the vulnerable base.

HILLSIDE

Tom, "the man," made 24 passes on the Gasline, 12 passes on the Double Bubble, and 10 passes on the Besh today with the snow machine.  He said there were some ruts and icy spots on the Besh to watch for.  He mentioned that he'd give the rest of the park some attention tomorrow.

CHUGIAK/EAGLE RIVER

Bill walked the trails at Beach Lake yesterday and raked off the big sticks.  He's out on the Christy this morning seeing what he can do.
5:10 pm
After making 24 passes on the Stadium and 12 on the Christy Loop, Bill was less than impressed with the results.  He's hoping that once we get some colder temperatures he'll be able to make a single pass with the snow cat over the rest of the park.  The parking lot (skating rink) at the Chalet is closed due to poor trail conditions, so you'll have to park at the high school, which is also a sheet of ice, if you want to try to ski.
