KINCAID

Warren and Peter have been out on snowmachines fluffing up the skate lanes on all the Lighted Loops so far today.*
HILLSIDE
Tom snowmachine groomed all the Lighted Loops, while pitching a few rocks, and said the skating is decent.  Randy's is marginal as is the first half of the Spencer, with the second half being better/more skiable.*
CHUGIAK/EAGLE RIVER
Last night Bill did the best he could at Eagle River H.S. and the trails on Yosemite Dr.  It was back to square one with developing the base.  There were a lot of rocks, but he was able to scratch out a lane for skating.  Choose your skis wisely.
He was out on the snowmachine at Beach Lake cleaning up the skate lanes this morning. He went over the Chalet Loop, Sprint, North Pasture, Bridge, Appendix, Corral, Swamp, Mama's, Low Road, Main Street and the Stadium.  Bill has no intention of getting on any of the trails with the Pisten Bully until we get more snow, so the tracks that are there, will be there until that highly anticipated event (more snow).*

*As far as the grooming goes, all the guys are in "preservation mode" and are very pleased that we have what we have.  There has only been one significant snowfall since the big "meltdown", and it is their priority to make the trails as skiable as they can for as long as they can.  They greatly appreciate your understanding and patience and hope we can make the best of what we've been "gifted".

"UWAX is Back" Kincaid weather hotline is back online 248-UWAX (248-8929) will give Time, Temp in F, Wind direction, wind speed & humidity. Listen closely, - Hal, the automated voice, is a bit hard to understand. Huge thank you to Karl Volz for making that happen.
