YOUR MEMBERSHIP MATTERS!

Our mission is to promote all forms of Nordic skiing as a healthy activity for all ages and abilities. Among our core activities are maintaining and grooming over 140 kilometers of ski trails for recreation and touring, as well as performance skiing and racing.
Serving Anchorage's Nordic ski community requires the year-round commitment of a small but dedicated staff, hundreds of hard-working volunteers, and a fleet of specialized heavy equipment. More importantly, the generous support of our members and donors is what
makes all of this possible.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

KINCAID
Matt decided that due to current conditions it just didn't make sense to groom any of the trails today.  The tracks are still holding up and the skate lanes are in good shape.  For notes on what was most recently groomed, please see yesterday's post.

HILLSIDE
Tom won't be back on the trails until Monday, so please visit Friday's post for a list of the most recently groomed trails.

CHUGIAK/EAGLE RIVER
Bill is out this morning working around the track at Mirror Lake Middle School, Gruening Middle School and Eagle River High School.  Between Friday and Saturday, he and our volunteer extraordinaire, Bob Stehn, made multiple passes on select trails at Beach Lake.  Please check yesterday's post for notes on what was most recently groomed.

"UWAX is Back" Kincaid weather hotline is back online 248-UWAX (248-8929) will give Time, Temp in F, Wind direction, wind speed & humidity. Listen closely, - Hal, the automated voice, is a bit hard to understand. Huge thank you to Karl Volz for making that happen.
