YOUR MEMBERSHIP MATTERS!

Our mission is to promote all forms of Nordic skiing as a healthy activity for all ages and abilities. Among our core activities are maintaining and grooming over 140 kilometers of ski trails for recreation and touring, as well as performance skiing and racing.
Serving Anchorage's Nordic ski community requires the year-round commitment of a small but dedicated staff, hundreds of hard-working volunteers, and a fleet of specialized heavy equipment. More importantly, the generous support of our members and donors is what
makes all of this possible.

KINCAID
Matt was out from 1-5:30 this morning and groomed the Horseshoe and the Lake Loop with double track.  This was the first time around the Lake Loop with the snow cat and it's looking pretty good.  He also groomed the roadside Multi-use trail.
2:00 pm
Craig is out in the PB600 and will have the entire park groomed for your skiing pleasure, with fresh track, by 3:00 this afternoon.  Kincaid received 2-3 inches of snow and looking forward to more!!
HILLSIDE
2:00 pm
It snowed 1.5-2" last night/this morning on the Hillside, and Tom is quite grateful!  He took the snow cat out and groomed, with new track, all the Lighted Loops, Double Bubble and the Gasline.   He and Chuck are heading down the Tour of Anchorage Trail and over to APU this afternoon on snowmachines.  They eagerly anticipate the arrival of more fluffy, white stuff tonight.   Enjoy!
CHUGIAK/EAGLE RIVER
Bill was out last night and groomed the entire park at Beach Lake.  Beautiful snow is coming down this morning!

"UWAX is Back" Kincaid weather hotline is back online 248-UWAX (248-8929) will give Time, Temp in F, Wind direction, wind speed & humidity. Listen closely, - Hal, the automated voice, is a bit hard to understand. Huge thank you to Karl Volz for making that happen.
