Our mission is to promote all forms of Nordic skiing as a healthy activity for all ages and abilities. Among our core activities are maintaining and grooming over 140 kilometers of ski trails for recreation and touring, as well as performance skiing and racing.
Serving Anchorage's Nordic ski community requires the year-round commitment of a small but dedicated staff, hundreds of hard-working volunteers, and a fleet of specialized heavy equipment. More importantly, the generous support of our members and donors is what
makes all of this possible.

Wow!  Can you believe it's almost February??!!

Craig took the PB 600 out this morning and cleaned up the trails after yesterday's big race.  He took out the double best line, regroomed the Mize, Jodhpur, Margaux's and the Lekisch Lighted and set a maintenance track on the side.
He did not make it to the dark trails, yet, so please be careful if you ski them.  He'll get to those tomorrow.
Tom did all he could to keep from freezing today...brrrrr!  He snowmachined groomed all the Lighted Loops, Double Bubble, Gasline, and the second 1/2 of the Spencer.  No new track on the's holding up alright.  Hoping for a nice dump of snow to make it even better!
Bill snowmachine groomed Eagle River High School and the trails at Yosemite Dr. this morning.  There are only about 1.5 inches of base, however, Bill thinks you could skate with your good skis as long as you kept your eyes open.
Tonight he'll be at Beach Lake setting up for the ASD Middle School Classic Race tomorrow.
*Middle School Classic Race tomorrow at Beach Lake Trails starting at 3:30-?*
Come and cheer on the kids!
