YOUR MEMBERSHIP MATTERS!

Our mission is to promote all forms of Nordic skiing as a healthy activity for all ages and abilities. Among our core activities are maintaining and grooming over 140 kilometers of ski trails for recreation and touring, as well as performance skiing and racing.
Serving Anchorage's Nordic ski community requires the year-round commitment of a small but dedicated staff, hundreds of hard-working volunteers, and a fleet of specialized heavy equipment. More importantly, the generous support of our members and donors is what
makes all of this possible.

We have a loop!! Saturday, December 8, 11:00 p.m.

As of 11:00 pm tonight, there is a groomed loop with tracks ready for some Sunday fun!

The beginning of the loop leaves the stadium on Margaux's, continues around and through the bunker tunnel, up to the biathlon range, turns right and goes down the firing line, then follows the groomed trail back down to the Lekisch tunnel and into the stadium.  There is more snow on the west side of the stadium.

There is one 50 yard section with a little dirt showing in the start area just north of the timing building.  Because of the way the wind was blowing it was just unreachable with the guns.

We hope you enjoy this trail... and the new snow!
