YOUR MEMBERSHIP MATTERS!

Our mission is to promote all forms of Nordic skiing as a healthy activity for all ages and abilities. Among our core activities are maintaining and grooming over 140 kilometers of ski trails for recreation and touring, as well as performance skiing and racing.
Serving Anchorage's Nordic ski community requires the year-round commitment of a small but dedicated staff, hundreds of hard-working volunteers, and a fleet of specialized heavy equipment. More importantly, the generous support of our members and donors is what
makes all of this possible.

Today at Kincaid, Craig and Warren snow machine groomed all the lighted loops, Elliot's, World Cup and Easy Street to the bridge.  Craig says the skiing is "pretty decent."

On Hillside, Tom snow machine groomed the lighted loops and the Spencer.  He says the skiing is still marginal because of an occasional rock, and the Spencer is a little worse.

In Eagle River, Bill and Jonathon track packed Eagle River High School and Yosemite Drive trails.  Bill says you could ski it, but it's not very nice.  They also filled the returning tunnel at Chugiak High School.  They went to the Coyote trails at Mirror Lake Middle School and decided there wasn't enough there to pack without making a mess.
