"UWAX is Back" Kincaid weather hotline is back online 248-UWAX (248-8929) will give Time, Temp in F, Wind direction, wind speed & humidity. Listen closely, - Hal, the automated voice, is a bit hard to understand. Huge thank you to Karl Volz for making that happen.

KINCAID - Craig

Craig spent some time on the snow machine today grooming the Mize, Jodhpur, Margaux's and the Lekisch.  Pretty good skiing to be had by all.

HILLSIDE - Tom

Tom groomed all of Hillside except the Richter loops.  He's working on getting them dressed up.  He also went over the Spencer and said it was decent.

Yesterday, he made two passes on the Tour trail and said it was still pretty lumpy and bumpy.  There have been many inquiries about setting track, but he says all the trails on the Hillside really need 6-8 more inches of snow (2-3" more of dense base) before he can get the snow cat out to put some down.  He really appreciates your patience and understanding.

If you see Tom, please give him a pat on the back and a big "CONGRATULATIONS" because his 8th grandchild (a girl) was born Christmas evening!  What a beautiful gift indeed!

CHUGIAK/EAGLE RIVER - Bill

Bill was out late last night working on the trails at Beach Lake.  He mentioned that it's all good most everywhere, however, there are a few more areas of overflow to be aware of...on Mama's by the bridge, Serpentine and the end of the Swamp trail by Mainstreet.
